Channel Partner Manager role
The Channel Partner Manager has all entitlements. He can perform the following administrative tasks:
- Create and maintain user accounts that enable contacts at his company to log on to the portal (Internet Users).
This only applies to users of the Channel Partner Manager's company.
- View and verify the company profile information (Company Profile)
- Add, maintain, and associate company contacts (Company Contacts)
The Channel Partner (CP) Manager can do the following:
- Activities
- Search and display all activities where the Sales Partner is the Channel Partner Company.
- Create activities of of type ZACP.
- Modify activities (ZACM, ZA05, where the Sales Partner is the Channel Partner
Company and Employee Responsible - Partner Employee. (The CP Manager has view-only access to other documents where the employee is not
'employee responsible'.
- Delete only only those activities he created and those created by any other employee from the 'Partner Company'.
- Leads
- Search and display all Leads, where the Sales Partner is the Channel Partner Company.
- Create leads of type ZDCP.
- Modify all Leads(ZL01,ZL02,ZL03,ZL04,ZL05,ZL06), where the Sales Partner is
the Channel Partner Company and Employee Responsible - Partner Manager or Employee of Partner Company.
- Delete only those leads he created and those created by any other employee from the 'Partner Company'.
- Opportunities
- Search and display all Opportunities, where the Sales
Partner is the Channel Partner Company.
- Create Opportunities of type ZDCP.
- Modify all Opportunities( ZO01), where the Sales Partner is the Channel Partner Company and Employee Responsible - Partner Manager or Employee
of Partner Company.
- Delete only those opportunities he created and those created by any other employee from the 'Partner Company'.
- Support Tickets
- Search and display Service Requests and Support tickets for Channel Partner and End Customers who "has EndCustomer of" relationship
established PLUS have the "Show Service Tickets to Reseller" Flag checked.
- Create Support tickets for the Channel Partner, Support Tickets for End Customers who "has EndCustomer
of" relationship established. The CP Manager creates Support Tickets for End Customer using reference.
- Modify Support tickets for the
Channel Partner, Support Tickets for End Customers who "has EndCustomer of" relationship
established. The CP Manager creates Support Tickets for End Customer
using reference.
- The CP Manager cannot delete Service Requests or Support Tickets.
- Business Partners
- Search and display all Prospects and Customers where the Channel Parter Company "has EndCustomer of" relationship established.
- Create Prospects and Contacts for the Prospect company. The CP Manager can
also create new contacts for their own Channel Partner company.
No "Sold To" or "End Customer" partner roles or contacts for these role should be created.
- Modify Prospects and Contacts for the Prospect company.
The CP Manager can also modify new contacts for their own Channel Partner
company. No "Sold To" or "End Customer" partner roles or contacts for these roles
should be modified.
- The CP Manager cannot delete Business Partners.
- Users
- Search and display only users of the Channel Partner Company.
- Create new users for their own Channel Company.
- Modify only users of the Channel Partner Company.
- Delete only users of the Channel Partner Company.
- Ibase
- Search and display Ibase records for Channel Partner Company and customers who "has EndCustomer of" relationship established.
- Service Contracts
- Search and display Service Contracts for Channel Partner Company and customers who "has EndCustomer of" relationship established.
