FRx Updates Notice By Microsoft
The user does not have sufficient permissions to the Sysdata Directory. Grant user access to Sysdata Directory.
If the error persists:
Open the frx32.cfg file located in the FRx program file directory using notepad. Make sure the pathing is correct and there are no extra characters. The Directory line in the [SYSDATA] section of the frx32.cfg file should end with a single backslash. Save the changes.
If the error persists:
The system.cfg file in the server Sysdata folder had a "MOVE TO" line in the [Sysdata] section pointing to the local hard drive C:\Program Files\FRx Financial Reporting\Sysdata. This line was added to the system.cfg file when the user changed the Sysdata directory in FRx Admin/Organization and choose the 'Automatically Update All Users' button.
Delete the "MOVE TO" line and the [Sysdata] section form the server sysdata system.cfg file. Now the local installs retain the setting in the local frx32.cfg file to look to the server sysdata directory.
If the error persists:
Reinstall FRx and use the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path to designate the path to the Sysdata folder.
Make sure the user has read write permissions to the network directory.
- Open FRx / Admin / Organization
- Click on the 'Sysdata' button on the bottom right side of the screen.
- Path to the Sysdata.
- Verify under Company / Specification Sets that the path or location is correct.
