- In the Export Selection window select the following criteria:
- Report Type = check the box for Detail (supporting) report and select Transaction Details radio button
- Click Ok button
- Open the Excel file created above. Note: The posting comment did not export.
Expected Behavior:
Posting comments should export to Excel when a blank or DESC line is the first line of the row format.
Possible Workaround:
Option 1:
- Insert a new first row setting Print Ctrl option to NP (Non-Printing Row)with a valid account in the Link to GL cell.
Note: We have seen inconsistent results with this workaround option.
Option 2:
- Remove any blank or DES lines from the top of the row layout until the top line contains a valid G/L account in the Link to GL cell.
Option 3: (Option 3 is only available for MAS 90/200 versions 4.30 and lower)
- Roll back to SP9. It is not recommended to roll back to SP10 as a similar issue exists there.
Below are the steps to roll back to FRx SP9:
- Make a backup of the shared SysData folder. You can confirm the location of this folder by going to Admin, Organization and selecting the SysData button in FRx Report Designer.
- While all users are out of FRx, go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the FRx service pack. If prompted, choose to roll back.
- Note: If FRx is installed locally (Fat Client), these steps must be completed on each workstation where FRx is installed. All workstations must be on the same FRx version.
- Once the service pack is uninstalled, start FRx Report Designer and confirm the Release Number by clicking on Help and selecting About.
- 6.7.141 - No SP
- 6.7.1013 - SP1
- 6.7.2013 - SP2
- 6.7.3073 - SP3
- 6.7.4031 - SP4
- 6.7.5014 - SP5
- 6.7.6062 - SP6
- 6.7.7032 - SP7
- 6.7.8069 - SP8
- 6.7.9111 - SP9
- 6.7.10343 - SP10
- 6.7.11027 - SP11
- If the service pack level is correct, continue to Step 5. If the service pack level is too low, download and install SP9. If the service pack level is still too high, fully uninstall the existing service and then download and apply SP9.
- Once FRx Report Designer is at SP9, you will need to run a HotFix to remove SP11 registry keys to prevent from getting an Error 91 when generating reports to Excel.
- Note: See attached file below.
- If FRx is installed on the server (Thin Client), you must run Client Setup from the workstation.
