"The following files failed to self-register..." or Error 339 "Component 'CSTEXT32.OCX' or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered..." when installing FRx

The following errors appear when installing FRx system files:

• "The following files failed to self-register: cscmd32.ocx and cstext32.ocx"
• "Path \\server\mas90\glxxx is incorrect or missing gl0xxx.soa"

The following error appears when launching FRx Designer:
Error 339 "Component 'CSTEXT32.OCX' or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

Possible Resolutions:

FRx for Sage MAS 90 ERP, Sage MAS 200 ERP, Sage MAS 500 ERP, and Sage PFW ERP:

1. FRx is not compatible with Windows Server 2003 for any version below 6.5.152. It is possible to install the FRx program files locally with a shared SysData folder on the Windows Server 2003.
2. FRx is not compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 2 for any version below 6.5.152. Downgrade to Service Pack 1.
3. Applying the FRx2003Update for an unsupported version of FRx have been known to resolve the error. For more information, see Various errors occur when installing FRx on a Windows 2003 or Windows XP Service Pack 2 workstation or How to install FRx 6.5.

FRx Version 6.5.51 for Sage PFW only:

1. Finish the FRx installation.
2. Install the FRx version 6.5.152 patch to the root FRx folder where the FRx executables are located.

FRx for Sage MAS 500 6.3 only:

1. Download the full version of FRx 6.5.152 for Windows Server 2003 for Sage MAS 500 version 6.3. or FRx 6.5.199 or higher
2. Install FRx or the FRx service pack. For more information, see How to install FRx 6.5
