"Users have exceeded the maximum limit" when launching FRx

The error "Users have exceeded the maximum limit" occurs when launching FRx.

Possible Resolutions:

  1. Set the FW company as default and compact the database. Change back to the live company and the lock should be removed. If the error persists, see How to compact the specification set or system database in FRx.
  2. Try accessinh the FW demo company in FRx. Change to the demo company, and then back to the live company. The lock should be removed.
  3. If error persists, restore the Frxsys32.mdb file from a recent backup.
    1. Verify that no companies were added or removed from FRx since the backup.
    2. The backup must have been made when no users were in FRx.
  4. If a valid backup is not available, e-mail the Frxsys32.mdb file to [email protected] for editing. Be sure to include the following in the subject line of the e-mail:
    1. A valid Sage Software account number.
    2. The case number for this issue (if a case has been created).
    3. Include the error text in the body of the e-mail.
