How to Move Sage MAS Intelligence from one workstation to another

What is important in a Sage MAS Intelligence installation is the repository location which is the network location of all of your reports.

If the network repository is going to stay the same:

1. On the original workstation go to License manager and double click on the account number on the right side and un license the current workstation by deleting it's computer name.
2. Install SMI on the new location ,
3. Point it to the same repository location.
4. License the new computer by going to license manager and clicking on perform registration.

If the network repository is going to change:

1. Back up and Copy the content of repository location to the new location.
2. On the original workstation go to license manager and click on file and choose change metadata repository and follow the on screen prompts to change the location of meta data
3.  Click on the account number on the right side and un license the current workstation by deleting it's computer name
4. Install SMI on the new location ,
5. Point it to the same repository location.
6. License the new computer by going to license manager and clicking on perform registration.
