"AlchemexNet.Security - Operation must be an updateable query" error when attempting to open Report Manager.

Possible Resolution:

This usually occurs if the user does not have sufficient network rights for the area in which the Sage MAS Intelligence Server components are installed. The problem may also occur if the file alchemex.svd has had the Read Only File Attribute set on.

To resolve the problem make sure that the Read Only Attribute of alchemex.svd is not set on and that the user has read/write access to the Server folder.

Browse to the directory where Sage MAS Intelligence was installed and follow the steps outlined below:

1. Highlight the directory folder.
2. Right-click on that directory folder, select Properties.
3. Select the Sharing tab.
4. Verify the permissions for each group or user on the Sharing tab. Usually on the Sharing tab users are given full control to the folder itself.
5. Once these permission have been verified or updated to the appropriate permissions, select Apply, then select OK.
6. Select the Security tab.
7. On the Security tab find the individual users or groups and verify that they have Read, Read & Execute, Write, and Modify access to this directory.
8. Add the Permissions for users as Full Control.
9. Verify if the domain name\Users group is given Read, Read & Execute, Write, and Modify permissions as well as all users are part of this group.
10. Once these permissions have been verified, select Apply, then select OK.
