"Unspecified error:DB_E_ErrorsIn Command (0x80040E14)" occurs when drilling down in Sage MAS Intelligence if a posting comment is over 255 characters.

Steps to Duplicate:

In ABC company:

1. Expand General Ledger and Main. Double-click General Journal Entry.
2. Create a journal entry with the following information, and click Accept:
• Source Journal = JE
• Entry Number = 000020
• Posting Date =
• Journal Comment = Any text over 255 characters.
• Account No = 100-00-00
• Debit = 15.00
• Account No = 105-00-01
• Credit = 15.00
3. Click the Print button.
4. Click Preview and then update the General Journal.
5. Open Report Manager.
6. Expand the Financials object.
7. Select the General Ledger Transaction Details 2-0 (MAS) and click the Run button.
8. In the Enter Report Parameters window, enter the following:
• Fiscal Year = 2010
• Fiscal Period = 01
• Fiscal Period = 12
9. Click OK. "Unspecified error:DB_E_ERRORSINCOMMAND (0x80040E14) Number -2147217900 Driver Error Unknown SQL State Unknown" occurs.

Expected Behavior:

The ability to generate reports or drill down in SMI if comments are over 255 characters.
