Subject:

How to add vertical lines between columns in FRx reports

Possible Resolution:

In FRx Report Designer / Column Layout

  1. Insert a 'FILL' column for each location where the vertical line will show.
  2. Type two single quotation marks (") after the FILL.
  3. In the Column Width row, type '1' for each Fill column.
  4. To center the columns and lines, select 'Center' from the drop down menu in the Justification row of the Column Detail.
  5. In the Row Format, insert a row before the row where the vertical line should begin.  Type 'BXB' in the Format Code column and put the column letter of the Fill column(s) in Column G of the row format.
  6. In the Row format, insert a row after the row where the vertical line should end.  Type 'BXC' in the Format Code column and put the column letter of the Fill columns(s) in Column G of the row format.

Note:  The inability to create a vertical line in FRx 6.7 is a known issue with SMR# 22605 and will be resolved in a future FRx Service Pack.
