"'<Path Name>.xls' could not be found check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct..." when generating a report formatted for Excel

Subject:

"'<Path Name>.xls' could not be found check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved, or deleted." appears when generating a report. The issue occurs if the report is formatted for Excel and the Activate Workbook check box is selected.  

Steps to Duplicate:

In FW company:

1. Open FRx Report Designer, and then click FW at the Select Default Company window.
2. Click Catalog of Reports, and then click CashFlow at the Select Catalog for Display window.
3. Click the Output Options tab.
4. Select Formatted Excel from the top drop-down list.
5. Select the Activate Workbook checkbox.
6. Click Generate Report. The message appears.

Expected Behavior:

The report should open in Excel without error.

Possible Workaround:

1. On the Output Options tab, clear the Activate Workbook check box.
2. Click Generate Report.
3. Manually open the file in Excel.
4. If the error persists, remove any spaces in the output path or file name.
