How to create a vertical line between columns in a report
Possible Resolution:
- Launch FRx Designer and select 'Column Layouts'
- Insert a 'FILL' Column for each location wehre the vertical line is desired
- Type 2 single quotation marks ('') after 'FILL'
- Search for the 'Column Width' row and type '1' for each Fill column created
- Center the columns and lines by selecting 'Center' from the drop down menu in the 'Justification' row on the column detail
- Close 'Column' and select 'Row Formats'
- Insert a row after the row where the vertical line should begin
- Type 'BXB' in the format code column and put the column letter of the Fill column(s) in Column G of the row format.
- Insert a row after the row where the vertical line should end
- Type 'BXC' in the format code column and put the column letter of the Fill column(s) in Column G of the row format
Note: The inability to create a vertical line in FRx v6.7 is a known issue (SMR 22605) and will be resolved in a future FRx Service pack.
