Subject:

Error 9: "Subscript out of range" occurs when exporting a report to Microsoft Excel in FRx if using Page Footers on the catalog.

Steps to Duplicate:

In FW company:

1. Open FRx Desktop.
2. On the Catalog of Reports menu, point to Page Options, and then click Headers and Footers.
3. Create footer information, and save the catalog.
4. Generate the report.
5. In the Drilldown Viewer, click File, Export, Worksheet File, and then click Formatted Excel (XlS, XLSX).
6. Save the report to the desired location.
7. Click Save, and notice that Error 9: "Subscript out of range" occurs.

Expected Behavior:

Exporting reports to Microsoft Excel should not generate an error message.

Possible Workaround:

SMR #24177 - Error 9 when exporting to Excel and there are footers in the Catalog:

• Take out the double underscore at the end of the row format
• Uncheck the export formulas option
• Uncheck the Print Headings worksheet option
• Remove all Footers from the catalog.

SMR #24077 - Error 9 when exporting to Excel and a TOT or CAL row referencing a blank row.
