Subject:

Header is blank after exporting data to Microsoft Excel and a NP (Non-Printing) Print Control is used in column B of the Column Layout.

Steps to Duplicate:

In the FW company:

  1. On the File menu, click Open, Catalog. Select the Catalog ID IS.
  2. Click the OK button.
  3. Click the Open Column button.
  4. From the Column B Print Control list, select NP.
  5. Click the Save button, and close Column Layout.
  6. Click the Generate Report button.
  7. Click the Mark All button, and click the OK button.
  8. On the File menu, point to Export, Worksheet File, and click Excel.
  9. Click the Save button.
  10. Select the Entire Tree button.
  11. Select the Print Headings check box, and click the OK button.
  12. Use Windows Explorer to browse to the location where the Microsoft Excel file was saved. Open the Microsoft Excel file.
  13. Notice the header is blank.

Expected Behavior:

The header should display properly.

Possible Workaround:

Insert a new column to replace Column B using a Fill column type, or do not use an NP Print Control in Column B.
