Catalog stops responding when generating an Excel-formatted report with export formulas selected.
Possible Resolution:
- Create another catalog and use the original row format, column layout, and reporting tree.
- On the File menu, point to New, and click Catalog.
- Create a catalog with the following information:
- Catalog ID = a new ID
- Row Format = the original row format
- Column Layout = the original column layout
- Reporting Tree = the original reporting tree
- Select Use reporting tree if necessary.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Generate Report button.
- If the issue still occurs, open the row format and clear Fmt Code in the last row of column C.
- On the File menu, point to Open, and click Row.
- Select the appropriate row and click OK button.
- Scroll to the last row of the row format, which contains a value in Column C.
- Clear any content (LNE, ---, or, ===) from Fmt Code.
- Click the Save button.
- On the File menu, point to New, and click Catalog.
- Select the appropriate catalog ID and click the OK button.
- Click the Generate Report button.
