Subject:

"(CheckOFSIConnection)8900: A DirectLink Error Has Occurred During The Connect To FinSYSEntity Procedure" occurs when using Unified Logon in Sage MAS 90 and 200.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. After installing or upgrading to Sage MAS 90 or 200 version 4.10, turn on Unified Logon. For more information, see How to setup Unified Logon in Sage MAS 90 and 200.
  2. Install FRx version 6.7.4031.
  3. Add the ABC company and set the company as default. For more information, see How to set up a new company.
  4. At the Crystal Login Prompt, click 'Cancel'.
  5. Note the error occurs.

Expected Behavior:

When Unified Logon is enabled, this error should not occur.

Possible Workaround:

Temporarily disable the Unified Login for initial logon to FRx:

  1. In Sage MAS 90 or 200, open Library Master / Setup / System Configuration.
  2. Clear the 'Use Unified Logon' check box, and click 'Accept'.
  3. In FRx, log on using the Windows user name.
  4. In Sage MAS 90 or 200, open Library Master / Setup / System Configuration.
  5. Select the 'Use Unified Logon' check box, and click 'Accept'.
