The FRx icon or shortcut is missing after running Client Setup.

Possible Resolution:

An incorrect path is specified in the FRxclient.cfg file. To resolve this issue, perform the following:

  1. In Windows Explorer, browse to the ..\Client Setup\ folder.
  2. Open the frxclient.cfg file using Notepad.
  3. In the [Designer] section, edit the path on the line beginning with "Directory=" to reflect the installation directory using the UNC path, for example, \\Server\Share\Folder\.
  4. Repeat step three for the [Drilldown] and [Report Launcher] sections.
  5. Run Client Setup again.
