"This Report Yielded No Data" or "No Financial Rows to Display" when generating a report using wildcards for all accounts in FRx

"This Report Yielded No Data" or "No Financial Rows to Display" occurs  when generating a report using wildcards for all accounts. 

Possible Resolution:

This error occurs when using wildcards (????) under the Row Format. Using this format is for the 'Trial By' default as the reporter does not display a report that returns only zeros. To display the report, change the following settings in the catalog:

1. Select File / Open / Catalog.
2. Highlight the catalog, and click 'OK'.
3. From the 'Detail Level' drop-down box, select 'Financial & Account'.
4. Click the 'Report Options' tab.
5. Click the 'Formatting' tab.
6. Clear the 'Display Blanks for Zero Amounts' check box.
7. Select the 'Display Rows with No Amounts' check box.
8. Select the 'Display Reports with No Active Rows' check box.
9. Click 'Save'.

The report opens in the Drill Down Viewer with zero balances at the summary level of the report. When drilling into the row, each account displays with associated balance.
