Subject:

"<Accounting System> will need a registration number in order to run reports" occurs when setting a company as default even though FRx has been successfully registered.

Possible Resolution:
Perform the following in the order listed until the issue is resolved:

• In FRx, select Company / Information. Select each company, and verify that the selected accounting system is correct.  If the 'Account System' field displays as "Unknown Accounting System", select the correct accounting system and resave.
• Select Admin / Organization. If the 'Accounting System' field displays as "Unknown Accounting System", delete the row, and click 'OK'.
• Select Admin / Organization. Verify that FRx has a valid registration and authorization number entered.
• Search the ..\FRx\ folder on each workstation (FAT client) and file server (if applicable) for *.frx temporary files, and delete them.
  Note: These are temporary installation files that can be safely deleted.
• Select Company / Select Default or Company / Information. Select a company, and click 'Set as Default'.
