Possible Resolution:

FRx for Sage MAS 90 and 200 ERP:

Sage MAS 90 and 200 version 4.00 and 4.05:

Verify that the correct version of the SY_FRx.pvc file exists in the ..\MAS90\SOA\ directory.  The FRx service pack for 6.5 and 6.7 requires an updated SY_FRx.pvc file to function properly.  The new version of the SY_FRx. pvc file should have a modified date of 02/18/2005.  The SY_FRx.pvc file is included in the FR-6004-T.exe file for version 6.5 and in the FR-6005-T.exe file for version 6.7.

  1. Open Windows Explorer, and select the drive where Sage MAS 90 or 200 is installed.
  2. Open the ..\MAS90\SOA directory.
  3. Right-click the SY_FRx.PVC file, and select 'Properties'.
  4. Verify the 'Modified' date field is Friday, February 18, 2005.

Sage MAS 90 and 200 version 4.10 and higher:

Verify that the correct version of the SY_FRx.pvc file is located in the ..\MAS90\ directory and does not exist in the ..\MAS90\SOA directory.

  1. Open Windows Explorer, and select the drive where Sage MAS 90 or 200 is installed.
  2. Open the ..\MAS90\SOA directory and verify the SY_FRx.pvc does not exist. NOTE: If the file is in this directory, rename the file to .old
  3. Open the ...\MAS90\SY directory
  4. Right-click the SY_FRx.PVC file, and select 'Properties'.
  5. Verify the 'Modified' date field is Saturday, March 19, 2005.
