Version Reported: 6.5.152

Status:

This issue is being researched by Engineering.

Subject:

Data is incorrect or missing in FRx reports if a rollup code account attribute is used in row formats.

Steps to Duplicate:

FRx for Sage MAS 90 and 200

Using ABC Demo Company:

  1. Open General Ledger and verify there are rollup types, codes and transactions associated with the accounts and rollup codes.
Note: For more information, see How to Create a Rollup Code and How to enter and post journal entries.
  2. Launch FRx Designer and set the ABC Demo company as the "default".
  3. Select File / New / Row and double-click the 'Link to General Ledger' field.
  4. Enter the full account number, and then click the 'Row Modifier' arrow.
  5. Double-click the 'Type' field, select "A" as the 'Account Type', and click 'OK'.
  6. Double-click the 'Category' field, select "Rollup code 1", "Rollup code 2", "Rollup code 3", or "Rollup code 4" (depending on the General Ledger setup), and click 'OK'.
  7. In the 'From' field, select the beginning range value and click 'Ok'.
  8. In the 'To' field, select the ending range value and click 'Ok'.
  9. Click 'Ok' to close the window.
  10. Select File / Save As and save the row.
  11. Select File / New / Catalog and create a new catalog using the row format created above (use any 'Current' and 'YTD' columns).
  12. Set the 'Detail Level' of the catalog to "Financial and Account" or "Financial and Transaction", and then click the 'Generate' button.
  13. Note that the transactions are not displayed.

Expected Behavior:

The FRx report should retrieve the transactions from the selected range of rollup codes.

Possible Workaround:

Use rollup codes in the column formats rather than in the row formats.
Note: This will not allow filters.
