Error 5: Send Balance Filters - Invalid Procedure Call or Argument, occurs when generating a report in FRx. 

Possible Resolution:

FRx for Sage MAS 90 ERP, Sage MAS 200 ERP, Sage MAS 500 ERP, and Sage PFW ERP:
FRx returns this error if the fiscal year is not set up correctly in General Ledger.

  1. Verify the fiscal year has been created for the year that the report is being generated for.
  2. If the fiscal year already exists, verify the periods within the fiscal year are correct.
    Notes:
    • FRx cannot handle two fiscal years with the same periods or years (for example, 2004a, 2004b).
    • Verify that the periods and fiscal years are in consecutive order.
  3. Rebuild the Local G/L index in FRx.
