Calculation Column showing blank amounts after generating the Report in FRX

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Select File / New / Column.
  2. Create a new column with the following parameters:
    • In column A,  enter DESC as the 'Type (GL, Calc, etc.)' with a column width of 35.
    • In Column B, enter GL as the 'Type (GL, calc, etc.)' and accept the default settings of ACTUAL, BASE, BASE, CUR.
    • In Column C, enter GL as the 'Type (GL, calc, etc.)' select a Budget category as the 'Book Code/Attribute Category', and accept the default BASE, BASE, AND CUR.
    • In Column D, enter CALC as the 'Type (GL, calc, etc.)', B-C as the 'Book Code/Attribute Category' and save the column.
  3. Create a new Catalog, with Row format and the new saved Column layout just created, and generate the report.
  4. Column D will display as a blank column in the generated report. 

Possible Resolution:

Open the column, make sure in the CALC 'Type (GL, calc, etc.)' column, the variable is written in the 'Calc Formula' row.  Save the column layout, and generate the report.
