- "FRx Engine Failed to create GL Index file"
- "g32 database (path to the server) cannot be opened. This file exists as a zero length file when another user is building the gl index"
Possible Resolution:
FRx for Sage MAS 500, Sage MAS 90, Sage MAS 200, and Sage PFW:
- Make a backup of the ..\FRx\sysdata directory.
- Close all instances of FRx.
- Delete the .g32 files and .ldb files in the ..\FRx\sysdata directory.
If the error persists, perform the following:
- Repeat steps two and three above.
- Log on to FRx and open the FW demo company.
- Open Company / Information, and select the company.
- Click the 'System Specific Information' tab, and verify that the database and data source are correct. If the information is correct, note the information in the 'Company Information' windows.
- Click the 'Delete' button to delete the company.
- Open File / Compact FRx Database / Compact Entire Database.
- Open Company / Information, and recreate the same company using information noted in step four.
- Set the company as default.
FRx for Sage PFW:
Posting in the Sage PFW system is in process or the lock file was not deleted after posting was completed. If posting is completed in Sage PFW and the error occurs, delete the ..\Platinum\<Company_Key>\GLCHART.LCK file. This allows the FRx index to rebuild.
