Configuring the SData or Process Host Portals.

Possible Resolution:

Note:  The following steps are for Windows Server 2003 & Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.

Note:  After deploying the SData or Process Host portals, handler mapping must be configured and Integrated Windows authentication disabled.

  1. Open IIS.
  2. In the left-hand pane, expand to Internet Information Services\SERVER\Web Sites\SALESLOGIXWEBSITE.
  3. Right-click the virtual directory for the portal and click Properties.
  4. On the VIRTUALDIRECTORY Properties window, click the Directory Security tab.
  5. In the Authentication and access control area, click Edit....
  6. On the Authentication Methods window, in the Authenticated access area, clear the Integrated Windows Authentication checkbox.
  7. Click OK.
  8. On the VIRTUALDIRECTORY Properties window, click the Directory tab.
  9. In the Application settings area, click Configuration....
  10. On the Application Configuration window, on the Mappings tab, in the Application extensions area, click .ascx.
  11. Click Edit....
  12. On the Add/Edit Application Extension Mapping window, copy the text from the Executable: field.
  13. In the Verbs area, click the All verbs radio button.
  14. Click OK.
  15. On the Application Configuration window, on the Mappings tab, in the Wildcard application maps (order of implementation): area, click Insert....
  16. On the Add/Edit Application Extension Mapping window, in the Executable: field, paste the text copied from Step 11.
  17. Clear the Verify that file exists checkbox.
  18. Click OK.
  19. On the Application Configuration window, click OK.
