Add or remove subtotal rows within a report
Some reports
provide the ability to subtotal logically related records, for example,
roll up all sales transactions for each customer account or subtotal
all transactions based on Usage Type or Sales Transaction Type. These
subtotals may be removed or added to some reports. To do either, follow
these instructions:
To turn off the subtotal row
- Within an executed report, right-click the Account column title.
- Select Properties from the menu.
- Select Characteristic from the menu.
- From the Characteristic dialog box, click the General Tab (default).
- From the Display Results drop list, select Never.
To turn on the subtotal row
- Within an executed report, right-click the Account column title (or any other column being used to subtotal).
- Select Properties from the menu.
- Select Characteristic from the menu.
- From the Characteristic dialog box, click the General Tab (default).
- From the Display Results drop list, select Always.
