Steps to Duplicate:
- Open MAS Intelligence / Tools / Report Manager
- Select the specific report to generate a schedule command for
- Click on the Schedule Icon
- Enter the parameters when prompted and Click OK
A message box will then appear that will display the syntax for the running the report. Additionally this text will be placed on the Windows clipboard so that it can be pasted into the application or batch file that will be controlling it. - Open the Windows Control Panel and then open the Administrative Tools, Task Scheduler item.
- From the menu choose Action, Create Task.
- Enter a name for the task
- Click on the Actions tab
- Click New
- Paste the command from the clipboard in program/script
- Click Ok
- Confirm the arguments specified by clicking Yes
- In the When running the task, use the following user account box enter the user name that should be used to run the report under (for domain user accounts use the format domain_name\user_name)
- To set the Schedule for the Task click on the Triggers Tab
- Click the New button
- Click Ok after completing the schedule options
- Run the schedule
Note:Output file is not generated
Expected Behavior:
Output file should be generated after report is executed through the Windows Scheduler
