Formulas are not replaced with Values when using the ExtendFormulaeToUsedRows Add-In and the Excel Range to copy is more than one column.Possible Resolution:
- Expand MAS Intelligence, Tools, Report Manager.
- Copy any report and paste into a new folder.
- Highlight the copied report and select 'Show Advanced' on the 'Properties' tab.
- Click the 'Run Add-Ins' ellipse button.
- Select Alchemex Add-in 1 from the 'Select Add-In Library' drop-down.
- Select General Excel extensions Module from the 'Select Add-In Library Module' drop-down.
- Click on 'ExtendFormulaeToUsedRows' and click 'OK'. Note the Description of this Function "Name: ExtendFormulaeToUsedRows - Description : Extends formulae in a range to the specified area - Use When : You wish to apply formulae to a dynamic row range "
- Enter Destination Sheet (Example "Sheet1").
- Enter 'The Column To begin at (Number)'. Enter 'The first row to begin copying to'.
- Enter 'The Excel Range".
- Enter 'The Column used to define the used row range'.
- Select YES for the 'Replace the Formulae with Values'.
- Enter a 'End Column (Number)'
Note: Step 13 is important. If the end column number is not defined then the Formulas will not be replaced with values for the entire Excel Range defined in Step 10.
