Steps to Duplicate:
In CAD company:
- Expand MAS Intelligence, Report Manager. Double click Financials, right click on Financial Reports 2.0(MAS 500) and click Run. Enter Financial Year of 2008 and 7 for Budget Set. Click OK
- Click Menu Tab in Excel. If prompted, click on Categories tab and populate the GLCatCode column appropriately. When completed Click on Menu tab again. From Financial Reports list select number 1 report "Actual/Budget/Variance 1-12, Qtrs & YTD/Annual Budget" Income Statement..
- Expand one or two of the groups and note the account amounts for a few of the accounts in one of the periods.
- Right Click on the worksheet tab and click Unhide, Sheet 1. click on Sheet 1 and note all accounts are listed only once. Close report and close Sage MAS Intelligence
- Expand General Ledger, Maintenance, GL Setup, Set Up Fiscal Calendar. Select 2007 Fiscal Year. Change End Date for Period 12 to 12/26/2007. Click yes to prompt to recalculate balances.
- Select Fiscal Year 2008 from lookup. Set up End Dates as follows:
- Period 1 01/31/2008
- Period 2 02/28/2008
- Period 3 03/27/2008
- Period 4 04/24/2008
- Period 5 05/29/20088
- Period 6 06/26/2008
- Period 7 07/31/2008
- Period 8 08/28/2008
- Period 9 09/25/2008
- Period 10 10/30/2008
- Period 11 11/27/2008
- Period 12 12/25/2008
- Click Finish to save changes, say yes to prompt to recalculate balances. When completed recalculation completed, exit Set Up Fiscal Calendar.
- Repeat steps 1-3. Note that the amounts have doubled.
- Repeat step 4. Note the accounts now appear twice on the worksheet. Used report # 1 as example, however accounts are duplicated in any of the report selections.
- Right Click on any worksheet tab and unhide sheet 1. Open sheet 1 and note all the accounts are showing up twice. Once with period start date of 12/27/2008 and again with start date of 01/01/2008.
Expected Behavior:
Expect the accounts and amounts not to be duplicated on the report.
