How to setup a Column Format to pull in the Reference Code when running a Transactional Report in FRx.Possible Resolution:
In MAS 500:
- Setup General Ledger Reference Codes and Groups and use during Journal Postings.
In FRx:
- Transaction detail reports generally contain both current and year to date results in the columns.
- Transactions themselves are reported in the current column, while beginning and ending account balances are reported in the YTD column.
- Transaction details will only appear at the transactional level; even headers will be blank at the financial and account levels.

The detail level in the Catalog must be set to financial & transaction or transaction only to view results
CATALOG:

Detail Options for account and transactions are found under the Report Options tab.

The Detail Level should be Transactional or Financial & Transactional.

On Output options if you print to Formatted Excel the columns will follow the columns defined in your workbook (make sure SP11 update installed).

Select to Format as Excel Outline.
ROW FORMAT:

In the Link to GL Column using wildcards will pull activity from all accounts meeting the criteria.

The Transactional Detail level will display each account and its activity independently.
COLUMN FORMAT:

Add a column and click the 'Type' field. The transactional detail options will display.

Select the TREF type to add a Reference Code column to your Transaction Detail FRx Report.
