Possible Resolution:

This error occurs in FRx Report Designer when a report, linked to an external Excel worksheet, is generated. This error may occur because an external worksheet path, specified in the row or tree format, is invalid.

• If the report is configured using a separate link to an external worksheet, modify the tree format of the report and enter a valid path and file name for the worksheet.
• 1. Launch FRx Report Designer
  2. Click on the Catalog of Reports button and select the appropriate report.
  3. Click File on the menu and then click Open Tree. Open the tree used by the report.
  4. Enter a valid path and worksheet filename into column T, labeled Ext File.
  5. Save the Tree Format
• If the report is configured using a GL + Worksheet link in the row format, modify the row format of the report and enter a valid path and file name for the worksheet.
• 1. Launch FRx Report Designer
  2. Click on the Catalog of Reports button and select the appropriate report.
  3. Click File on the menu and then click Open Row. Open the row used by the report.
  4. Click Link on the row format menu and then click Open Link Window.
  5. Select the GL + Worksheet link used in the row.
  6. Enter a valid path in the Worksheet file name field.
  7. Save the row format.

**Note: When specifying the path in the tree you need to wrap with " [ " instead of " ( ".**
