How to use PI and PB page breaks in FRx
Possible Resolution:
PB is used only in a report that contains both a Balance Sheet and an Income Statement.
- PB starts a new report page
- Tells FRx the page is a balance sheet (or supporting schedule to the balance sheet)
PI starts a new page for an Income Statement. It functions like the PB code, except that it tells FRx the page is an Income Statement. The PI code can be used to force a page break in any report.
Note: The PB code is commonly mistaken to mean "Page Break". In FRx the PB code means "Page Balance Sheet". Since a Balance Sheet does not include Income and Expense accounts, when this code is used for a page break the Income and Expense accounts will not pull in a report, nor the Column Headings for these entries. Use the PB distinction ONLY if your report includes both a Balance Sheet and an Income Statement and if the column display should be different for each type of report.
