"Account Is Invalid Because of Spaces. Account xxxx-xxxx-xxx A Space Should Be Denoted With The Character -'-' ", occurs when using the Zoom for the Link to GL in the Row Format after adding the account to the Zoom and clicking OK.

Note: Sage Software Support cannot duplicate this issue with demo data. The following steps are based on a reported case. 

Note: Always make a backup first. If necessary, seek the assistance of a qualified Sage Software business partner, computer or network technician, Sage Software Customer Support analyst.

  1. Expand Library Master, Utilities and then double click Data File Display and Maintenance,

  2. Browse to each file and compare the record counts in the GL_Account & GL_AccountHistory files (located in .MAS90\MAS_xxx\GLxxx, xxx=company code)

        If the record counts are not the same, need to Reinitialize GL_AccountHistory.

  3. Expand Library Master, Utilities and then double click Rebuild General Ledger sort files.

  4. Delete *.G32 files (located in the . FRx Software\FRx 6.7\Sysdata folder)

  5. In FRx, Create a new catalog, using the same building blocks (row format & column layout).
