"Error 70 - Permission denied" when starting FRx

"Error 70 - Permission denied" occurs when starting FRx.

Possible Resolution:

FRx files or system files that are used by FRx Designer are not registered.

  1. Browse to the Microsoft FRx root directory on the affected workstation.
  2. Run the FRxReg67.cmd file. This registers the files needed for FRx.
    Note: When running the file, a command window opens and then closes.
  3. Start FRx Designer.
  4. If the error recurs, contact Sage Customer Support, and request the latest version of a .bat file that will register all of the shared system files. 
  5. Copy the .bat file into the Microsoft FRx root directory.
  6. Run the .bat file.
