Possible Resolution:

One or more companies does not have the appropriate fiscal year set up.  Setup the Fiscal year for all companies( including companies in the tree)

In Sage MAS 90 or 200:

1. Open General Ledger / Setup / Fiscal Year Maintenance
2. Click 'Cancel' button
3. Enter applicable year in 'Fiscal Year' field
4. Define dates and click 'Accept' button
