Possible Resolution:

All reports in a chain do not use the report date selected in the first report catalog. Each report in a chain uses the date that is saved in the 'Default Base Period'. All settings that are saved in a catalog, become the default setting for that catalog, regardless if it is used in a chain of reports.

To generate a chain of reports and maintain the same date throughout the chain, each catalog's 'Default Base Period' setting must be modified to the desired value. For this reason, it is important to understand the use of the 'Periods and Dates' window and the 'Default Base Period'.

To generate a chain of reports for the current G/L period:

1. Open the first catalog ID in the chain of reports.
2. Click the 'Report Date' drop-down box to access the 'Periods and Dates' window.
3. In the 'Default Base Period' drop-down box, select "CUR", and click the 'OK' button.
4. Save the catalog.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each catalog ID in the chain of reports.
6. Click the 'Generate Report' button to generate the first catalog in the chain. Click the 'Yes' button to generate all reports in the chain.

Note: To generate a chain of reports for the previous month, in the 'Default Base Period' drop-down box, select "S-1".
