What is Print Control and how is it used?
Possible Resolution:
The row format PRINT CTRL column controls print formatting features of the current row. These print codes apply to amount rows only.
NP (Non Printing) - This row is not printed on the report, but is used in all calculations.
CS (Currency symbol) - Prints a currency sign (ex. $) on all amount columns. (Note: Percentage columns never receive a currency sign.)
XD (Suppresses accounts) - Suppresses printing of the row if all amounts are zero. This is meaningful only when the suppress zero balance option is NOT selected in the report catalog.
B0 (Zero columns blank) - Leaves zero columns blank. Normally, when a column has no amount, 0.00 appears. This option suppresses printing of those zeros.
DR (Debit balance) - Prints only debit balances for a row.
CR (Credit balance) - Prints only credit balances for a row.
XR (Suppresses roll-up) - Suppresses roll-up amounts from a child to the parent unit. (ex. If net profit is showing at the child level, do not roll it up to the parent unit. That would compound the amount.)
TIP: Several codes can be used in the same row. To do so, separate the codes with commas or select them with the mouse and let FRx do the formatting.
